Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using IELTS Adda ("Service," "Platform," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use IELTS Adda, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

3. Account Registration

When you create an account with us:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breaches
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Plan

• Access to all practice modules with limited daily evaluations (3 per day)
• Basic features including Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening practice
• Free plan features may be modified at our discretion

4.2 Pro Plan ($19/month)

• Unlimited AI evaluations across all modules
• Access to premium features: AI Tutor, Study Plans, Mock Exams, Analytics Dashboard
• Priority support and early access to new features
• Billed monthly; subscription automatically renews unless canceled

4.3 Billing and Payments

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• No refunds for partial months or unused features

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• You retain Pro access until the end of your paid period
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods
• Your account will revert to the Free plan after cancellation
• Exception: refunds within 7 days if you've used fewer than 10 evaluations

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Commercially exploit the Service without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content on IELTS Adda, including text, graphics, logos, software, and practice materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

When you submit practice responses:

• You retain ownership of your original content
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use your content for providing the Service
• We may use anonymized data to improve our AI models and platform
• You warrant that your content doesn't violate any third-party rights

8. AI-Generated Feedback

Important disclaimers about our AI evaluations:

• AI feedback is for practice and educational purposes only
• Scores are estimates based on IELTS criteria but may not match official IELTS examiners
• We do not guarantee specific band scores or test outcomes
• AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or inconsistent feedback
• Official IELTS preparation materials should be used alongside our Service
• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, IDP, or British Council

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IELTS Adda, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service:

• Immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms
• If we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• At our discretion, for any reason with 30 days' notice

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will attempt to provide notice of significant changes but are not obligated to do so.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where IELTS Adda is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

• If unresolved after 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration
• You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IELTS Adda regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
